Nick Wechsler
as Trek
Nick Wechsler plays Kevin "Trek" Sanders, a techno-wizard with a
slacker mentality, in Team Knight Rider.
Wechsler was born and raised in Albuquerque, N.M., where he
participated in numerous theatrical productions at the Performing Arts
Center. His theater credits include Rebel Without a Cause, A Midsummer
Night's Dream, One FLew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Waiting for Godot,
Pippin, and You Can't Take It With You.
Wechsler moved to Los Angeles seven months ago to pursue an acting
career. His first break was a supporting role in the NBC telefilm Full
Circle, which is based on the Danielle Steel novel. Wechsler was also
featured in Castle Rock Entertainment's The Lazarus Man.
Wechsler is an avid music and movie lover. He also enjoys various
sports such as volleyball, wrestling and swimming. As the good-looking
prodigy Trek, Wechsler gets to play the mastermind behind some of the
outrageous gadgets TKR uses. He is the one who can make a bomb out of
a couple of pennies, a box of paper clips and a Q-Tip to help his
teammates break into an impenetrable fortress.
